Hi,
Hi, I’m Grant — a filmmaker and freelance producer based between Austin, TX and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I specialize in documentary and commercial storytelling, with a passion for crafting character-driven content that resonates across platforms.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to contribute to major projects for brands like Dell Technologies, Google, Cargill, and SXSW, as well as networks including HBO, Disney+, ESPN, Netflix, and Oxygen. My work spans from large-scale docuseries to fast-turn digital campaigns — always rooted in authenticity and story.
I'm the co-creator and executive producer of Chef 2 Chef, a conversational food docuseries that brings Lao-American chef Bob Somsith to the table with some of the country’s most exciting chefs. The show explores food, culture, and the stories behind each dish.
Other recent highlights include Tales From the Crescent (my feature documentary debut), Reskued (a branded doc on food waste for Google x Cargill), and Perfectly Flawed, comedian Willie Barcena’s fifth comedy special.
As a neurodivergent creator, I bring a unique lens and wide-ranging curiosity to every project. Lately, I’ve been especially focused on climate storytelling and AI safety — always chasing stories that challenge, inspire, and make a difference.
